About the Origin
Sumatra, one of the biggest island in Indonesia is known for its rugged tropical terrain, wildlife and smoldering volcanoes. Moreover, Sumatra is also known as the best coffee producer in Indonesia. One of the most famous coffee from Sumatra is Aceh Gayo coffees. Located in the northernmost region of Sumatra, Aceh Gayo always well known by their remarkable & delicate taste. Planted at an altitude 1650 meters above sea level, embedded along 400 hectares of plantation in Central Aceh, this coffee has notes such as sweet, juicy, nectar like, and powerful tropical fruit.
This Arundaya 90 was processed using double washed processing method. With double fermentation times, and using double amount of water, this process will make the coffee give out the their unique fruit character, intense acidity, rich body and constant cleanliness with many factors contributing to these great qualities in the cup.
About the Name
Arundaya is taken from Sanskrit Language meaning sun rises which interpret the social life of people lived in Aceh. An indelible moment ordinarily experienced by most of the population there, especially for coffee farmers. Coffee farmers are very excited when it comes to crop season, they devoted their energy and time to pick the red cherries that they have been planted and cared really well. With this name, we brings the farmers’ spirit to your cups to be enjoyed for any occasions, either for your morning coffee, spirit enhancer right in the afternoon, or a relaxing time at night before you take a rest and continue your life ahead.
