About Us
Blanco Coffee Indonesia began in 2014 as a small café in the heart of Yogyakarta. What started as a passion for great coffee has grown into a commitment to mastering every aspect of coffee – from cultivation to cup.
Our journey took a significant turn when we recognized the potential of Indonesian specialty coffee in the global market, driven by increasing demand and the limited number of specialty coffee producers in the country.
In 2016, in partnership with local farmers in Sumatra, we expanded to manage coffee plantations and began exporting Indonesian coffee worldwide. Our first major step into the international market came at the Indonesian Coffee Festival in the Netherlands, where we showcased our Aceh Gayo coffee.
In 2018, we launched our roastery service to meet local market needs, and in 2020, we opened our second café branch in Jakarta.
At Blanco Coffee, we believe our mission goes beyond meeting global demand. We are dedicated to introducing the unique character of Indonesian coffee while supporting the communities involved in its production. By building a fair trade supply chain, we aim to improve livelihoods and enhance the quality of our coffee, creating a positive impact both locally and globally
